What data we collect
We only collect what you enter in a contact form or send us by email:
- Creators: your name, email address, country, links to your social media channels, approximate follower count and your message.
- Brands: company name, your name, role, email address, website, country and your message.
Why we use it
We use the data to reply to your message and to discuss a possible collaboration with you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering inquiries and, where a collaboration moves forward, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)). We do not use the data for marketing newsletters and we do not sell it.
Where the data is stored
Form submissions are stored in our customer database, which runs on Airtable. Email runs on Google Workspace, and this website is hosted by Netlify. These providers process data on our behalf. Some of them are based in the United States; transfers outside the EU rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Only the founders of Creators Studio have access to the database.
How long we keep it
If your inquiry does not lead to a collaboration, we delete your data within 12 months of our last contact. If we start working together, the data is kept for as long as the collaboration lasts, and contracts and billing records are kept as long as the law requires.
Cookies
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The embedded contact form is provided by Airtable, which may set cookies that are needed for the form to work.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its use. Send your request to antti@creatorsstudio.org. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
